A new federal study about sex, marriage, children and fatherhood released today provides the first comprehensive governmental glimpse into the male psyche — with almost 5,000 men talking about their feelings and their relationships.The report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention outlines the responses of men ages 15-44 and includes details about how old they were when they had their first child to their partner's ages at their first sexual experience. It also describes findings on issues ranging from child support payments to vasectomies. And it gives men's opinions on working mothers, gay adoption and out-of-wedlock births.Among the findings: * 64% of men had their first child between ages 20-29.* Half of the men (50%) who married as teenagers were divorced or separated within 10 years, compared with 17% of men who married at 26 years or older. ...
