A mouse got its revenge against a homeowner who tried to dispose of it in a pile of burning leaves. The blazing creature ran back to the man's house and set it on fire.Luciano Mares, 81, of Fort Sumner said he caught the mouse inside his house and wanted to get rid of it."I had some leaves burning outside, so I threw it in the fire, and the mouse was on fire and ran back at the house," Mares said from a motel room Saturday.Village Fire Chief Juan Chavez said the burning mouse ran to just beneath a window, and the flames spread up from there and throughout the house.No was hurt inside, but the home and everything in it was destroyed.... http://www.cnn.com censor News |

Belafonte led a delegation of Americans including the actor Danny Glover & the Princeton University scholar Cornel West that met the Venezuelan president for more than 6 hours late Saturday. Fugitive Killed in California After Breaking Through Patrol Car, Trying to Escape in School Bus |
A fugitive broke through the window of a patrol car and attempted to commandeer a school bus loaded with children before he was fatally shot by a deputy, authorities said. Deven Lepierro's fatal run-in with police began Friday when he was accused of stealing from a Wal-Mart store and deputies discovered that he was a parolee wanted on two felony warrants, said Sacramento County Sheriff's Sgt. R.L. Davis. The deputies cuffed his hands behind his back and secured his legs with plastic restraints. But on the ride to jail, the 24-year-old managed to free his legs and smashed the car window to escape, Davis said.As he fled, Lepierro tried to carjack at least six cars and a school bus, according to authorities.
