Professional athletes were among the customers who bought steroids and human-growth hormone from an illegal Internet drug distribution ring, according to a New York prosecutor involved in a yearlong investigation. Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares didn't identify customers at a news conference yesterday in front of a Signature Pharmacy in Orlando, Florida. The pharmacy was one of two raided in Florida as a result of the probe. The raids by a task force of federal and state law enforcement personnel led to the arrests of four Signature Pharmacy officials, including Chief Executive Naomi Loomis, the Albany District Attorney's Office said in an e-mailed statement.
